    Sara Wickman, 31, from California, was looking back on her November 2019 wedding this month when she took to Instagram to share a video of her daughter Ellie dramatically lying face down in front of the altar.  

    'True story. Our daughter threw a tantrum during our wedding ceremony,' she wrote. 'But we wouldn't of wanted it any other way.'Scroll down for video

    In the video, Sara and her now-husband are standing on stage with their wedding party and officiant while 23-month-old Ellie is throwing a fit at the bottom of the stairs. 

    The toddler is lying face down on the ground, but she briefly lifts her head up to see if anyone is paying attention to her. 

    The mom just laughs and shrugs it off before scooping up her daughter and holding her for the remainder of the ceremony. 

    Little Ellie is curled up in Sara's arms while her parents exchange vows, making the moment that much sweeter.

    In the caption, Sara joked that her daughter was 'the ultimate wedding crasher.'  

    The video has been viewed more than 15 million times, and thousands of people have commented on the unforgettable moment. 

    'Now if she ever says you’re embarrassing her you can bring this up,' one person joked, while another added: 'The fact she checks to see if she has been noticed before laying back down again.'

    'Awww so sweet that you held her right there,' someone else added. 

    Ellie's tantrum wasn't their only wedding snafu, however.

    Sara revealed in a follow-up video that she also dropped her husband's ring when she tried to put it on his finger while holding their daughter. 

    In the clip, the ring bounces on the floor and is caught by a groomsman, prompting the couple to start laughing. 

    'Y’all are going to have an amazing marriage!! BC the wedding was a train wreck!!!' one person commented. 

    'I love how you all laughed through everything together,' another added. 'It shows that you guys are so in sync! It’s so sweet. May you love each other for a thousand years!!!'

    Since the couple's comical wedding, the two have welcomed their second child, a baby boy, Graysen, who is now seven months old.
