Husband clings to the side of a truck for 19 MILES after it smashed into his motorcycle, killing his wife, in Brazil

    Injured Anderson Antonio Pereira, 49, was forced to hold on for his life while the driver sped on for over 19 miles with the motorcycle jammed under the front of his lorry.

    Anderson and his wife Sandra, 47, were enjoying a Sunday cruise on the motorcycle they had bought only two months prior when they were rammed from behind on the BR-101 motorway, in the coastal municipality of Penha. The lorry driver, 36, is suspected of being under the influence of drugs when the incident happened. This is the moment a biker clings to a lorry while the driver who rammed his motorbike, killing his passenger, continues speeding along a motorway in southern Brazil

    While Sandra was left for dead on the road, the HGV sped on with Anderson managing to cling to the door, begging him to stop. 

    He clung to the truck for 19 miles before motorists managed to halt the killer driver and drag him out of the lorry.

    Later on, motorists can be seen dragging the driver from his vehicle and tussling with him before his subsequent arrest

    Anderson is expected to recover soon, but Sandra, who was flown by helicopter to hospital, later died of head injuries, leaving behind a 26-year-old son.

    The driver is expected to be charged with murder.
