  The clip posted to the video-sharing site last week showed flames coming out from behind the parked scooter. 

  A man could be seen wandering past as the fire intensified on the side of a New Zealand street.

  After the video was uploaded to TikTok, many commentators weighed in, with one noting 'scooter not on fire'

  Smoke could be seen billowing into the air as the man stopped to inspect what was going on.  

  The vision was uploaded to TikTok with the caption #scooter #fire leading one person to respond 'that scooter is lit'. 

  But other commentators were quick to point out there was an object behind the electric scooter. 

'Scooter not on fire. There is something behind it on fire,' one person commented. 

The man walking past caught the attention of commentators, who said he had come too close to the fire.  

'I wouldn't be standing that close to it,' one person commentated.
