Ring camera captures terrifying moment killers armed with a rifle and handgun shoot dead entrepreneur, 23, as he opened the door to his Staten Island rap studio

    Entrepreneur, Jahade Chancey, 23, opened the door to the Staten Island property at around 7pm and was shot in the back several times as he turned to run.

    The cold blooded killers were both caught on his doorbell camera as Chancey answered the door only to be greeted by their weapons, an assault rife and handgun, both of which are clearly visible in the video.

    No sooner had Chancey opened the front door, the killers, both wearing hoodies and masks rushed insideThe man carrying the rifle ran inside first, quickly followed by his accomplice carrying the handgun. 

    Paramedics took Chancey to Staten Island University Hospital and was conscious when he arrived, but later died.

    'My son is an entertainer, what they call a hype man. [He was] always dancing. He loved old-school music,' she said.

    'No children, never been in jail, I don't think he ever had a fight,' his mother said. 'He had no beef with anybody. His friends are great, so I know it wasn't a setup.'

    It is not yet known whether Chancey was the intended target of the shooting.

    His friends who were also gathered at the recording studio tried to stop the killers, according to Stockton. 

    'When they were opening the door, the person was trying to push in, so they were holding the door,' she said to the Daily News. 'They didn't even see that he had a weapon.'

    'He was a mama's boy,' his mother said. 'All he wanted was to be his own boss. He said, "Ma, we've been in the projects for too long. Once we make it big, we're out."'  

    The victim's aunt Kanona Martinez, 49, also paid tribute to her slain nephew.  

    'He was the best. Everybody's favorite,' she said. 'He was just himself. He knew what he wanted and he was driven for it.' 

    Stockton begged for anyone with information on the killing to come forward.

    'I'm just praying that someone will see that video, because you always have one person that does not like you that would love to see you underground,' Stockton said. 'Somebody say something, please, anonymously.'

    One killer was described as 5ft 8in, 150 pounds, together with a tattoo under his eye and short dreadlocks. 

    The other man was described as being 6ft and wore black sweats and a dark jacket.

    The recording studio, Demonlow Studios, was co-owned by Chancey along with some friends and opened last August and was making a name for itself in a bid to represent local rap artists.
