A long-haired history student named Athena, whose name comes from the Greek goddess of war and wisdom, has claimed the top prize with her cheeky snap.
Her winning entry was taken during the 'golden hour' when the sunset shone on her bottom as she leaned against a pillar outside the prestigious Fitzwilliam museum in the city.Other University of Cambridge competitors came up with some creative ideas in their year's competition, using some of the city's most famous landmarks as backdrops.

St Johns' students Angus, Matilda and Shannon bagged second place in this year's competition after giving a new meaning to 'Stairway to Heaven' - as they posed on a spiral staircase in the glowing sunset
Dozens of students sent in their nude photographs to the website as they attempted to be crowned Rear of the Year
In second place came a group photo of Angus, Matilda and Shannon who displayed their bottoms on a spiral staircase overlooking the city.
Third place was awarded to Classics student Theresa who stood on a building's roof during 'golden hour'.The winners are decided following a vote from current students and, with votes being cast from as far as the Czech Republic, the 2020 competition attracted huge attention this year.
Some of the creative snaps in the running featured landmarks such as the famous Bridge of Sighs at St John's College, the stunning King's Chapel, and even Cambridge's ancient streets at night.

Launching the contest, The Tab newspaper told its readers: 'Not even a pandemic will stop Cambridge students from taking their kit off for the chance to appear in The Tab Cambridge Best Bums hall of fame (and, let’s be honest, is Tab fame even fame worth having?).

'Now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for, here’s your chance to vote for the best bum in Cambridge in 2020.
'Will those lockdown workout regimes have earned students a glorious peach, or will those in more daring locations steal the show?
'Most importantly, do Cambridge students still give a rat’s a**e about who has the best bum in Cambridge (and – genuinely – we had one rat’s a**e submitted, so we really do want to know).'
In an advert run by The Tab for the Best Bum competition, the paper said: '2020 has been a year like no other.
