    CCTV footage shared on social media shows the sheep, goat and three lambs raiding Nevsehir City Hall in Turkey at 8.24am on Monday.

    They belong to farmer Hasan Unbulan and escaped their pen the previous night before heading into the city centre.In the video, two guards walk hastily up the city hall's steps to safety before the sheep, goat and lambs run after them.

    The guards run into the building, leaving the farmyard family on their own in the street.

    The animals continue to terrorise city hall workers around the other side of the building.

    The video was shared on Twitter on Monday by the local authorities with the message: 'We have been captured by one sheep, one goat, and three lambs.' 

    The animals belong to farmer Hasan Unbulan, who reported them missing after finding their pen empty when the wind blew the gate open during the night.

    He told NTV: 'I searched for my animals for a long time, but I could not find them. Then I went to see Nevsehir officials to report my animals as missing. 

    'I learned that they were taken to a nearby pound. Later, the authorities delivered my animals to me.'

    One of the security officers, Gokhan Temel, told NTV: 'When I came to work in the early hours of the morning, I wondered what the animals were doing there. 

    'We reported this to officials, and then a team came and took the animals away. I heard the animals were given back to their owner.'
