  • Inspired after supermarket shopping delivery and used vegetables to cover up  A fun-loving 80-year-old has stripped off for a cheeky charity calendar* to help beat the boredom of lockdown blues.

Hazel Sargent, from Cranham, Essex, was stuck at home this summer as she was having to shield from coronavirus due to her ongoing battle with bone cancer.

When her supermarket shopping delivery arrived Hazel had a flash of inspiration and used the vegetables to cover up for a naughty nude pic.

The perky pensioner sent the silly snap to her golfing pals on WhatsApp and was amazed when they urged her to send more to brighten up their day.

With her partner, Bob, behind the lense the pair created a series of fun photos which have now been put together for a golf calendar to raise money for Little Havens Hospice.

'It was all a bit of fun but luckily our garden isn't over-looked so we were able to do a series of pictures without being spotted.

'Some people have given me the money but said keep the calendar, I wasn't really sure whether I should be offended or not. But it's all good fun.

'My children are really proud of me for the calendar but I think they couldn't quite believe it when I told them what I was up to,' Hazel added.

Retired scaffolder, Bob, 83, said: 'It was really good fun and I'm very proud of Hazel.

'We all need a smile on our faces at the moment as life has been tough for us all - hopefully this will help people do that.'
