  • Parents are recording themselves on their children's TikTok accounts
  • They're captioning the videos with harsh insults about their teenagers and young adult children
  • Some have joked that they were 'accidents' and they couldn't have been adopted because their parents would never 'pick' them
  • A few have gone so far as to jokingly ask if it's too late to abort them
  • Shark Tank star Mark Cuban joined in the trend with his daughter Alexis
  • The kids are all in on the joke, with the videos posted on their own accounts

Parents are roasting their teenage and young adult children with extremely harsh insults in a darkly funny TikTok trend — going so far as to say their kids were unwanted, grew up to be disappointments, and in some cases, should have even been aborted.

The trend, which has taken off in the past week, involves mothers and fathers recording themselves while their grown and teenage children can be seen in the background.

They then superimpose the videos with not-so-nice messages about their children, with some even complaining — humorously — that their kids should have never been born.

The videos are all set to 'no no no no no no no no' by #fypsounds and follow the same format.

The parents always look completely unamused in the foreground, seemingly over whatever it is their kids are doing.

In the background, their kids either appear unaware they are being filmed, or they are doing something ridiculous.

'This mf forgot to defrost the chicken,' reads one. 'Just like I forgot to take my birth control 18 years ago.

'Does anybody know how to revert this mf back into sperm? This leech won't stop spending my money on Starbucks,' reads another.

Many of the parents say that they would like to get rid of their kids, with some asking if it's too late to abort them — even as teenagers.

Even Shark Tank star and Dallas Mavericks co-owner Mark Cuban got in on the trend with his daughter Alexis.

'I own a basketball team and this mf can't even make a free throw,' he wrote, adding two eyeroll emojis.

'This mf just asked if he'd adopted,' wrote one dad. 'Fam I'd never pick you.

One joked that his son was 'an accident,' while another said of his gay, colorblind son: 'Like what rainbow are you seeing?'

Justin Lee, who goes by @juiceboxtincan and is the blind, gay son, told the Daily Dot that the trend is just a joke, and the kids are in on it, asking their parents to partipate.

'It’s nothing harmful, really,' he said. 'In reality, it’s just the creator themselves making fun of themselves. It’s not actually parents talking to their children like that.'
