A quick-thinking maid was caught on camera protecting a little girl as a massive explosion ripped through the Lebanese capital of Beirut.
The clip showed the unnamed woman watching over the toddler in the family's playroom as she hoovered.
But as shockwaves from the blast hit she swiftly scooped the girl off the floor and carried her further inside the house in an attempt to reach safety.

The maid stopped momentarily to peer back into the house and just seconds later they were rocked by a massive blast.
