Those who commit the offense can also be taken to court where they could potentially be banned from driving or face a £1,000 fine (increasing to £2,500 if they were driving a lorry or a bus).

Earlier this month, Daisy attracted headlines after she was seen locking lips with property developer Jordan Saul, in a north London park, one month after she was linked to musician Christian Langdon.
The day before Daisy's lovefest in the park, her spokesperson told MailOnline that her relationship with Christian was platonic after she was spotted with a ring on her engagement finger.
Before that, the model had been dating singer Jack, 35, for six months, but they split in March, with Daisy saying she 'couldn't see a future' with the performer.
