Celebrity Chef Colin Fassnidge is recovering from a 'stomach operation' in hospital.
The 45-year-old told The Daily Telegraph on Thursday that had undergone the operation at Sydney's Prince of Wales Private Hospital.
'They were looking for a heart, they couldn't find one. I've had a stomach ­operation,' the My Kitchen Rules judge joked.

He added that despite being 'f**king sore', he was expecting to be discharged from the hospital on Friday.  The Irish media personality made the admission after sharing a mysterious photo of himself lying in a hospital bed earlier in the day.
In the black and white photo, Colin was propped up by pillows as he laid in a hospital bed surrounded by medical machinery.

He was dressed in a hospital gown, which was left slightly undone around his chest and shoulders. 
Despite his predicament, the personable star managed to muster up a thumbs up sign for the camera.

While he didn't go into details with the Instagram post, Colin revealed he had been admitted to hospital for a 'small op'.
Maintaining his sense of humour, the Irish-born chef urged his followers to send him Slane Irish Whiskey.
'ALIVE... sore... small op... send @slanewhiskey,' he captioned the post, adding a prayer hands emoji and the hashtag '#illbeback'.
