She uploaded images of the Summer Bay Surf Club and an entrance to Palm Beach, which doubled as the filming location for the famous soap opera.
The homeowner asked renters: 'Looking for a home near the beach?
'Three bedroom apartment with garage and express bus stop to the city outside home is available for rent in Randwick,' she said.
The woman noted her apartment was within walking distance of 'supermarkets, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and more'.
Commenters were quick to point out the uploaded images were in a completely different location to what was being advertised.
One user asked: 'I'm so confused. Are you offering rent in Palm Beach or Randwick?'

The homeowner said: 'Offering Randwick. Had a photo of the beach and it happened to be Palm Beach, so if you would like to live near a beach, there is a three bedroom apartment for rent in Randwick.'
She was forced to offer an odd explanation after the commenter pointed out 'Randwick is nowhere near Palm Beach'.
The woman said: 'The similarity is there is a beach nearby for families, couples and singles who may like the lifestyle.'
Another commenter said: 'I'm confused too.'
The homeowner replied: 'Apartment for rent is in Randwick. Easy walk to Coogee and Clovelly Beaches.'
She noted the location was 'much closer to city than Palm Beach'.
