Liverpool supporters around the world were celebrating long into the night after seeing their side win a first league title in 30 years.
But there were concerns for the welfare of one fan after they fell off the the top of a ladder celebrating the title triumph. 
A short video was posted on social media showing the supporter, wearing a mankini, climbing to the top of a ladder resting far from secure on a lamp-post while trying to plant a Liverpool flag.

As gatherings of people below him were chanting the famous Queen song 'we are the champions' as part of the celebrations, the supporter then put his arms out as a way of joining in with the party atmosphere.
However, the supporter lost their balance on the ladder and fell to the ground to shocked screams before the video cuts out. 
Climbing up lamp posts has become a popular custom in the United States following the success of sports teams.

Liverpool secured the Premier League title on Wednesday night after Manchester City lost 2-1 at Chelsea which saw Pep Guardiola's side trail the Reds by 23 points with just seven games to play.
With the Reds now English, European and world champions Reds supporters came out in drove to mark the championship success - which is also their 19th in total but the first in the Premier League era.
