'I’m just really disappointed in myself for actually believing that an account named “settings” would legitimately be Netflix settings.'

Despite the anonymous woman no longer being in a relationship with the Twitter user's brother, it didn't lessen her desire to binge her favourite Netflix shows - on the subscription he pays for.
So the user went on to explain how she cleverly decided to hide her actions by changing her profile picture on the Netflix account screen to a loading wheel - before making her account name ‘Settings’.
And the trick appeared to be so convincing, that it took months for the family to realize what had been going on.
Taking to the comments section, even Netflix replied 'Respect,' while a second wrote: 'Remember In school when the teachers used to say, not everyone can be academic, some have to find there own version of being smart....THIS is one of those versions!

A third added: 'Honestly, fair play to her,' while a fourth joked: 'Rather than denying them access, monitor what they are watching, skip episodes so they lose the story or wait til they’re one episode from the end of a box set and THEN log them out and change your password.'
Meanwhile, others took the opportunity to share similar discoveries they had made on their Netflix accounts.
'Once someone I know yoinked a Hulu account and named themselves “+ Add account” so that the icon would just be the +,' commented one, while a second penned: 'I named my profile “Cancel Netflix”, which was the most effective way of keeping the kids away from my profile.
A third commented: 'I had one of my siblings on my hulu account, and he gave my log in and password to six of his friends, and they all used my same profile so it didn't look like they were using it. Kicked my bro and everyone else off my hulu at that point.'
To check if anyone else is using your Netflix account, you can log into your account and click ‘manage profiles’ from the drop-down menu.
