'We are separated by a million miles and closed borders': Diplo reveals he hasn't been able to meet his two-month-old baby son Pace because of the coronavirus pandemic

Diplo has revealed he still hasn't been able to meet his son Pace, two months, in a candid Instagram post shared on Monday.

The DJ, 41, who confirmed he welcomed a child with Trinidadian model Jevon King, 30, in a sweet Mother's Day post, admitted the coronavirus pandemic has kept him from seeing his newborn face-to-face as he isolates in California.

Sharing an adorable snap of his little boy, the father-of-three reassured fans he'll 'meet him as soon as we turn a corner on this world shutdown'.

The musician - who shares Lockett, 10, and Lazer, six, with ex Kathryn Lockhart - captioned the sweet image: 'So I had an entire a** baby during quarantine. 

'I was hesitant to post him because not only does he already had a better haircut than me.. But also because I havent met him yet since we are separated by a million miles and closed borders. 

'His name is Pace, he and his mommy are super healthy and happy and I'm going to meet them as soon as we turn a corner on this world shutdown.' [sic]

It is unclear where Jevon is based, and Diplo is yet to confirm whether the pair are currently in a relationship.

The media personality revealed he became a father for a third time just hours earlier as he uploaded a snap of the stunning beauty pageant queen doting on their child.

'Thanks for giving me life and helping me create it — the three strongest mothers in the world.. I'm still a work in progress but u have given three perfect beautiful boys. I love you all til the moon and back,' the hunk captioned his post.

The Major Lazer mastermind also featured a photo of his mum Barbara Jean and one of Kathryn clasping his older sons to mark International Women's Day.

Diplo - real name Thomas Wesley Pentz - revealed his decision to quarantine separately from his children in a moving post back in March, posting a video of himself interacting with Lockett and Lazer through a glass window.

In the work department, the electronic music producer has been keeping busy with a series of Zoom live streams where he DJ's the same set he might do in a club for viewers.

'FOMO doesn't exist anymore,' Diplo told the New York Times. 

'I’m having the best time ever in my live streams. I was doing 300 shows a year before this. I hated going to dinners with the promoters I didn’t like, I hated all the travel to get there.

'I love the shows, but everything else is kind of awful: paying for flights, paying for a jet, that’s stuff we had to do, and I hated it. I kind of hate my house now, but other than that, I’ve learned to really respect all this, you know, time, all the time we have here.'
