The European flag quiz that only 10% of Britons could score full marks on (with millennials performing worst) - see how many YOU can match to the correct country

Britons have spent plenty of time on the continent – and have talked about it rather a lot recently.
But despite this, it turns out they’re not so hot on identifying European national flags, especially millennials.
River cruise provider Emerald Waterways put together a quiz featuring 15 European flags and asked 1,200 Britons to pair them with countries. Only 10 per cent managed to get full marks. The fastest time that the quiz has been completed in is 1 minute 36 seconds, while the average is 2 minutes 12 seconds.
Gen Z (18-25) performed the best, with an average of 12 out of 15, followed by baby boomers (55+) with a 10-out-of-15 average. Gen X (40-54) came next with 9 out of 10, while millennials (25-39) performed worst with an average score of seven out of 15. Shockingly, over two out of three people couldn’t identify the flag for Belgium, while over half couldn’t identify Greece’s flag.
Scroll down and see if YOU can get full marks. We’ve presented the quiz in an interactive format, and separately with the flags and questions laid out below that. The answers are at the bottom.
