Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wanted to be ‘international roving royals from the outset’, claims royal expert
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry wanted to be 'international roving royals from the outset', a royal expert claimed today.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shocked the world after quitting the Royal Family before moving to Canada then onto LA.

But royal expert Katie Nicholl today said it was "inevitable" that the couple would relocate - but admitted the speed of their move had "surprised everybody".
She told Australian website 9Honey: "I was told from a very early stage in their courtship, they had told a friend of Harry's that Meghan met quite early on that they wanted to international roving royals and that was going to be their focus.
"This is not a couple who like to sit around and twiddle their thumbs. They move quickly and they do seem in quite a hurry to do their thing."
She added: "They didn't want to just be stuck in one place. Part of their vision is to be making a difference on the world stage and that entails being international."
Since they married two years ago, the couple conducted royal trips to Australia and Africa, along with welcoming baby Archie before quitting the Firm.
They had initially planned on splitting their time between North America and the UK but have since moved to LA.
And they have continued their jetsetting lifestyle - flying to private speaking engagements and reportedly taking Tyler Perry's private plane to move to LA.
NEW LIFE
The couple are now settling into their new home in LA - although reports have surfaced that Prince Harry is feeling "rudderless".
The 35-year-old, was stripped of his military appointments and no longer represents the Queen on public tours.
Meanwhile, Meghan has already scored her first post-royal gig - narrating a Disney Plus documentary about elephants.
And it has since been claimed singer Adele has befriended the couple.
Among other A-lister neighbours, Meghan and Harry are surrounded by stars including Katy Perry, Jennifer Lawrence and Sir Elton John.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently living with one-year-old baby Archie in an eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom LA property that is owned by 50-year-old tycoon Tyler Perry.
The luxury 90210 postcode pad, where they are currently on lockdown, is also close to Rod Stewart and Samuel L Jackson.
Now the duchess, 38, is a stone’s throw away from her tennis best friend Serena Williams, along with her actress pal Abigail Spencer, among many others.
Back in Britain, the couple have started to repay the £2.4m spent on refurbishing their home in the UK, Frogmore Cottage.
Their five-bedroom property was a wedding gift from the Queen and is currently empty.
It is understood to be a "rental-plus" agreement where they are paying £18,000 a month - more than the commercial rate so the excess is used to pay off the renovation bill.

Harry and Meghan aren't the type to twiddle their thumbs, the royal expert said
