Firefighters are battling to save an upholstery workshop and neighbouring buildings after a raging inferno broke out in south Sydney.
Fire and rescue personnel were called to the scene on Monro Avenue in Kirrawee just after 10pm on Sunday.
A huge blaze had engulfed the top level of the upholstery shop, with fire crews immediately upgrading their response team at the scene.

A Fire and Rescue NSW spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia there are 50 firefighters on the scene tackling the blaze and they are expected to remain fighting through the night.
The building has significant fire damage, with firefighters hoping to save the property.
There are also concerns for fire damage to neighbouring buildings, including a McDonald's.
It is not yet known how the blaze broke out.
No injuries have been reported.
