Couple down shots at a Sydney bar before woman collapses outside and is taken to hospital

• One couple had a little too much fun after a night at Assembly Bar in Sydney
• They downed several shots in a matter of minutes with the barman
• They staggered out on the street before the woman fell over and passed out
• She was taken to hospital and the bar was issued with a warning    

A woman was rushed to hospital after overindulging at a central Sydney bar and passing out.

The woman was drinking at the Assembly Bar in Sydney with her partner when they downed several shots in a matter of minutes with the barman. 

CCTV of the couple showed them leaving the bar in a clearly intoxicated state before falling over outside.  

Her partner pulls her up and they walk a few more metres before she once again collapses the floor and becomes unconscious.  

The woman loses her balance and slides onto the floor before passing out and taken to hospital

The couple had lined up several shots and downed them within a matter of minutes with staff

Police attended the scene and she was taken to hospital where she recovered, Nine News reported. 

Assembly Bar has been issued a warning following the release of the footage but won't face a penalty.  

The incident is understood to have happened before lockdown restrictions were imposed.
