A Look At The World’s Oldest and Most Ancient Trees

Beth Moon, a San Francisco-based photographer, embarked on a fourteen-year mission to photograph the world’s oldest and most ancient trees. Her quest took her all over the United States and across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. The photos of the trees she captured feel as old as history itself.
A complete collection of her work can be seen in her book the Ancient Trees: Portraits of Time.
These magnificent images remind us of the significance of time and nature. Take a look.
