The man who stole my childhood: Dylan Farrow shares her grief at the release of Woody Allen's new movie being celebrated by stars Kate Winslet and Justin Timberlake .

  • Dylan Farrow, 32, complained on Twitter on Friday about her adoptive father's new film Wonder Wheel
  • She tagged its stars Justin Timberlake and Kate Winslet in her comments
  • Neither has spoken out against Allen despite her claims he sexually abused her when she was a child
  • Allen, now 82, adopted Dylan with his then partner Mia Farrow in 1985
  • In 1992, he left her for her other, older adopted daughter Soon-Yi
  • Allen has always denied sexually abusing Dylan and has never faced charges
  • His daughter has reignited her campaign to see him prosecuted since the Harvey Weinstein scandal erupted
  • While Weinstein and a spate of other Hollywood figures have been boycotted, Allen's Wonder Wheel has been completed

  • Dylan Farrow shared her grief on Friday as Hollywood prepared to celebrate her adoptive father Woody Allen's latest film.
Dylan, who claims she was sexually abused by the director as a child, sent out a flurry of tweets to coincide with the release of Wonder Wheel, Allen's latest film which stars Justin Timberlake and Kate Winslet.
She called them out by name and shamed them for continuing to collaborate and celebrate her adoptive father who she referred to as 'the man who stole my childhood'.
'Today Woody Allen releases another film nationwide. People like Justin Timberlake, Jim Belushi, Kate Winslet and others will promote it and praise him for it,' she wrote.

'Today I will be triggered by every movie ad, every review, every mention of the man who stole my childhood from me,' she wrote.
In a string of 10 tweets, she continued: 'There are many others like me who are continually revictimized when they are disbelieved, or just outright ignored, because the truth is too inconvenient to accept, too difficult to deal with.
'When we enable powerful predators, in every walk of life, we are willing accomplices in the continued harm inflicted on their victims. We are complicit.
'To fundamentally change how society responds to sexual assault, we must change ourselves, at every level.
'We must subordinate art to morality, not morality to art.

'We must subordinate power to morality, not morality to power.
'We must make the personal sacrifices necessary to take away the power and influence from those who abuse it, and we must do it by standing together.
'It won't be easy, but it will be worth it.
'The time is right for a cultural change. We owe it to our world, to our children, and to the generations to come.'
To sign off, she asked: 'Are you with me? #MeToo.'
Dylan has long accused Allen, now 82, of sexually abusing her when she was a child.
She claims it began when she was around seven, after he and her adoptive mother Mia Farrow had split up.
Ronan Farrow, Dylan's brother who penned an explosive New Yorker article revealing Harvey Weinstein's history of alleged sexual misconduct, is Allen and Farrow's only biological child.

Farrow had another adopted daughter - Soon Yi. Allen left her for Soon Yi in 1992, when she was 21. They remain married to this day.
Dylan's accusations against the actor were first made public in the 1990s but they have regained attention in light of the avalanching allegations against others in Hollywood since the Weinstein scandal erupted.
Allen, unlike others who have faced accusations of sexual misconduct, has been spared a boycott by stars.
Last week, when his daughter called for people to sidestep his latest film, it was met again with refusal by stars like Winslet to take her accusations as fact.
Winslet defended the director, saying in an interview: '
'At the end of the day, you look at the facts. He’s an 81-year-old man who went through a two-year court case.

'As far as I know, he wasn’t convicted of anything. I’m an actor; he’s a director. I don’t know his family. I’ve heard and read exactly what you’ve heard and read. I know as much as you do. That’s all I can say.'
An investigation was launched in the 90s but was dropped.
Timberlake spoke gushingly about the director when promoting the film in a recent interview.
'Working with Woody was an experience I’ve never had before working on a film.
'I was very intimidated at first. But after a couple of days of going through the process with Woody, I found that I’d like to make every movie like I did with Woody,' he told Entertainment Inquirer.

In the same interview, he spoke searingly of the allegations against Weinstein.
'I’m an only child raised by his mother. So, I am extremely sensitive to women because I love my mom so much. Everything you’ve heard about in the last few weeks, it’s sad. I hope that it gives a lot of women the courage to step up.
'The part of the discussion that should probably be brought up more is that, men and women are preyed upon and don’t feel like they can bring it up.
'I don’t feel that I’ve ever had anyone of the opposite sex or the same sex try to take advantage of me. But, I know how I would feel. I think about my mother and my wife, and if I were to have a daughter one day, how I would feel about that.
'This is a serious matter and I don’t want to make a joke of it. I hope that it does inspire a lot of people, any minority who’s been preyed upon in this way to speak up and feel confident that they can speak up.
'There’s an energy around it where I feel like, it is empowering a lot of women. That is, at least for me, a silver lining to this situation.'
